In any business, effective leadership is critical for any company's success. Sean's talk drew parallels between the game of rugby and business to show that there are a number of strategies for success that can be learned from the sport, like creating a culture to support success, identifying areas of strength, and leading from the front.

Front Row Group were honoured to take part in the 2013 Craggy Range Vintage Release Tasting held at London's Hospital Club, hosted by Director of Wine and Viticulture Steve Smith. Steve is a founding director of Craggy Range. He has had a distinguished academic, research and commercial career in the wine business since 1980, and is the only specialist viticulturist in the world to hold a Master of Wine something he achieved first time.

Craggy Range began with the desire to create a legacy. When Terry Peabody visited New Zealand in 1997, he was introduced to MW Steve Smith. Terry sensed an exciting possibility in New Zealand, the exceptional climate and spirit of the people aligned with his own philosophy and desire to cut a new path. He wanted to create wines that would become internationally regarded as New World classics. The two men made an important decision from the beginning - to select and source the best land in the country, and to plant the vines perfectly suited to that soil and climate.
