The value that Corporate Hospitality can add to your business

Front Row Hospitality

On the days leading up to Wimbledon, gallons of Pimms, lemonade, cream and tonnes of strawberries will be delivered to the food halls located beneath Court Number One, ready for hundreds of contracted catering staff recruited for the fortnight to serve it up to hoards of corporate hospitality clients.

Corporate hospitality by definition is hospitality extended by companies. It involves companies inviting guests to attend a memorable event or organised activity - whether it’s a day at a world class sporting tournament, a sponsored dinner, a golf day, or an exhibition. Whatever the event or
activity, the entertainment that accompanies it is always generous, and the pleasure derived from it great. But despite the emphasis on fun and
excitement, the objectives are entirely serious and relevant to the host company’s business interests and furthering their objectives. It is a valuable tool enabling companies to forge and cultivate relationships with key people, both internal and external to the company, and to raise awareness of the brand. Corporate hospitality done well is proven to be a very effective method of forming close bonds with the people who are important to the competitiveness and profitability of the company, as well as maintaining a positive image for the investors, and ultimately will help improve the business performance.

Front Row Hospitality

Front Row Hospitality would be pleased to help organise your corporate event, whatever the scale or budget. Whether it’s for your existing or potential clients, investors, key influencers, your ‘internal’ customers (your own staff) or for a charitable cause.

With our network and contacts, we are able to add unprecedented value through access to the world’s most prestigious sporting events and international sports stars, as well as through developed client relationships.

Laureus World Sports Awards 2015

Front Row Hospitality

The world’s top tennis player Novak Djokovic, the Germany World Cup football team and brilliant young athlete Genzebe Dibaba were the big
winners as the 2015 Laureus World Sports Awards were unveiled in Shanghai.

Djokovic won his second Laureus World Sportsman of the Year Award after another brilliant 12 months which featured a second Wimbledon victory. He said: “This is probably the crown of my 2014 season that has been highlighted with winning Wimbledon, regaining No.1 in the world and becoming a father. It has probably been my best year so far in my life.”

Oliver Bierhoff, manager of the Germany team, was at the Awards Ceremony to receive the Laureus World Team of the Year Award following the historic victory last year when Germany became the first European team to win the FIFA World Cup in South America. It was Germany’s fourth World Cup triumph.

Ethiopia’s Genzebe Dibaba was named Laureus World Sportswoman of the Year after breaking three world records in different events in two weeks. She is only the third person in history to achieve this feat, along with athletic giants Jesse Owens and Usain Bolt.

Is this the right school for my child?
By Emma Swanson, CEO Front Row Education

Choosing a school for our children is one of the biggest decisions that we will make as a parent. Yet when faced with endless options and lists of
possible schools, where do we begin?

At Front Row Education, we firmly believe that the starting point must always be the child. What will be the right school for this child? Where will
they be happiest and thrive? Which learning environment will offer this student the very best opportunities to succeed?

UK independent schools are a unique learning option in the world of education. They are ‘independent’ in the truest sense of the word; free from restrictive curriculum demands and therefore able to differentiate their schools. Some are rigorously academic in their focus, highly selective in terms of intake and very much geared towards a child who has a passion for academia. Others will prioritise The Arts, believing that giving children confidence through drama is an important life skill. Even within seemingly ‘standard’ prep schools, the atmosphere within each is very different.

Other considerations are whether to go for co-educational schools, or single sex options? Do we choose an IB school or one where A Level is the only choice? Which school will facilitate my child’s love of Music or Rugby the most? Day schools or full boarding? A city school or one offering vast country playing fields? The options really are endless…….

Front Row Education work closely with families to help them to navigate their way through this maze of educational decisions. By spending time getting to know your children, talking to you as their parents and discussing the range of schools available, we are able to advise which schools would be good choices; schools that will really suit your child.

Chainy Co-Founder Alexander Lushnikov invited to speak at
TEDx conference

Front Row Hospitality

In March, Chainy Co-founder Alexander Lushnikov was invited to speak by the London School of Economics at TEDxLSE 2015. The topic of his speech was 'How and why creativity will revolutionise the 21st century.' The theme of TEDxLSE 2015 was Global Pioneers: #daretodream.

TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks. It began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. Meanwhile, independently run TEDx events help share ideas in communities around the world.

Front Row Hospitality

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED created TEDx - a program of local, self-organised events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At TEDx events, a screening of TED Talks videos — or a combination of live presenters and TED Talks videos — sparks deep conversation and
connections at the local level.

Chainy is an online platform that brings together talented, creative people. The project seeks to help boost equality of opportunity in London’s creative industries by offering a platform to connect skills with need. Creative people are the people who can help sustainability related organisations communicate
their messages and make them accessible, interesting and appealing to the public.

Sean Fitzpatrick attends Hong Kong Sevens with AIG

Front Row Hospitality

At the end March, Front Row Leadership’s Sean Fitzpatrick, in his capacity as AIG ambassador, was invited to join AIG for one of the most celebrated events on the Asian sporting calendar, as the All Blacks Sevens competed with some of best rugby players in the world in front of thousands of fans.

As the Major Global Sponsor of the All Blacks Sevens, AIG was right behind the team as they defended their world title. The All Blacks teams are recognised for having some of the best winning records of any sports teams, but a stunning performance from Fiji saw them take away the title on the 40th anniversary of the city's biggest sporting event.

Whilst in Hong Kong, Sean was also invited to attend the New Zealand Rugby Sevens Reception being hosted by the NZ Consulate General. The event was an opportunity to showcase the best of New Zealand. Guests included senior Hong Kong government officials, leaders in the Hong Kong and Macau business communities and many representatives from the travel, education, science, technology, community, food and beverage sectors
